Take 5 with Compliance Council

Updated on March 24th, 2022

Take 5 is a series of fireside chats with customers and industry partners who share their industry insights to support and educate the construction industry, from the unprecedented circumstances that we face today, to the everyday challenges of running a business in construction.
In today’s episode, we chat to Jason O’Grady, General Manager of Compliance Council as he shares what his customers are seeing on the frontline of construction whilst outlining that all stakeholders involved are responsible for the safety of everyone on site. Jason stresses that the whole supply chain including principal contractors and subcontractors must work together to ensure:
– social distancing measures are taking place
– adequate sanitiser is being provided
– adequate cleaning of the jobsite
These measures are essential to ensure that all subcontractors, principal contractors, suppliers, workforce and visitors are protected as much as possible against the spread of the virus. Both subcontractors and principal contractors have a responsibility to keep each other accountable to the requirements set out by the Government.
Compliance Council is an Australian-based management systems consultancy who removes the burden and stress of meeting industry standards from time-poor industries. They specialise in assisting construction businesses in becoming ISO certified and have been long-standing partners with Assignar.
